ARTIST BIO

Heather is an art, documentary, travel and underwater photographer, mainly influenced by David McMillan, Richard Misch, Edward Burtynski, the Dusseldorf School of Photography and Narelle Autio.

Heather is a founding member of the Photographic Imagery Collective (PIC) in Adelaide, which through joint exhibitions and advocacy with arts organsiations, aims to raise the profile of photography in South Australia.

Exhibitions and Prizes include: Winner 2016 Wudinna and Districts Art Prize; Exhibitor, Centre for Creative Photography student exhibitions; SALA joint exhibition; Gallery#22 Tree Stories joint exhibition; Wudinna Visistors Centre, Long Exposure of Memory solo exhibition. This exhibition featured on ABC online.

Publications include: self published book, "Mysteries of the Ordinary" phogographs taken bythe late Gary Haigh; Front Covers: Classic Diver, The official publication of trhe Historical Diving Society Australia Pacific; Underwater and Topside photographs in Dive Log magazine; Acknowledgment of photo of Nick Rains, Leica Academy for his book Aerial, Hardy Publishers; South Australian Government Maritime Archeology publications; PADI international scuba diving magazine.
